Who we are
Launch in China is the trading name of Guangzhou Bingfeng Information Technology Co., Ltd., a company registered in Guangzhou, China ("we", "us"). We provide China market launch services — filings, store submissions and China-readiness advisory — to international product teams.
This policy covers launchinchina.com only. It explains what we collect when you use the contact form on this site, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
What we collect
Information you give us
When you submit the contact form we receive the fields you fill in:
- your name and email address (required)
- your company name and website or app store link (optional)
- what you need from us, and whether you already have an app
- anything you write in the free-text message box
Information collected automatically
When you send the form, our backend also records the IP address, country and browser user-agent string attached to your submission. We use this only to filter spam and rate-limit abusive submissions — not for profiling or advertising.
We also record how you arrived here: the campaign parameters in the link that brought you to the site (utm parameters), a Google Ads click identifier where one is present, the page you landed on, and the site that referred you. This is held in your browser for the session and is sent to us only if you actually submit the form — it exists so we can tell which channels produce real enquiries. It is never shared with a third party or used for advertising.
Analytics and cookies
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland it is configured to default to denied and only runs once you accept the consent banner. Elsewhere it is on by default, and you can turn it off from the same banner. Before you accept, no analytics cookies are set.
What we do not do
- We do not run advertising pixels, retargeting tags or marketing cookies.
- We do not buy, rent or sell personal data.
Why we use it
To read your enquiry, reply to you, and — if you become a client — to prepare a quote and deliver the work. We may send you service-related messages about your own enquiry. We do not add you to a mailing list.
If you are in the EEA or the UK, our legal basis is your consent (you chose to submit the form) and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries and preventing abuse.
Who processes it on our behalf
- Cloudflare, Inc.
- Hosts this website and stores form submissions submitted to our database.
- Resend
- Delivers the notification email that tells us your enquiry has arrived.
Both are processors acting on our instructions. Our infrastructure is hosted outside mainland China, so your enquiry may be transferred to and stored on servers located outside your country. We keep the number of parties who ever see your data as small as we can.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become projects are kept for up to 24 months, then deleted. If we work together, records relevant to the contract are kept for as long as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what we hold about you, and give you a copy
- correct anything inaccurate
- delete your enquiry and our record of it
- stop using your data for anything beyond answering you
Write to us through the contact form or on WhatsApp and we will action it within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or the UK you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS. Access to the enquiry database is limited to the people who need it to answer you. No system is perfect, so please do not send us passwords, ID scans or other sensitive material through the form — we will ask for those separately, through a secure channel, if a project needs them.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your data we will update this page and move the date at the top. Material changes will be noted on the home page.
